Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé d'extraction de scories d'un bain d'eau dans un réacteur de production de gaz de synthèse. Selon le procédé, les scories sont portées à un niveau de pression inférieur au moyen d'un récipient sas. L'objectif de l'invention est de trouver une solution pour que les composants impliqués dans l'extraction des scories se trouvent à une température peu élevée et qu'une extraction instantanée des scories puisse être possible sans échange d'eau, avec une puissance de refroidissement nécessaire minimale. A cet effet, un courant d'eau de refroidissement situé dans une zone dont la section transversale est supérieure à celle de la tubulure d'admission d'une autre partie de l'installation, par exemple du récipient sas, est admis dans le courant de scories dans la région de sortie des scories du bain d'eau du générateur de gaz ou du récipient sous pression entourant ce générateur, de manière à permettre une stratification des températures dans la région de sortie.
