- an object of the invention is to produce a control device for effecting an opening or closing phase of a dynamic part of a piece of furniture which does not oblige the user to effect manual closing of the dynamic part of the piece of furniture to the end of its travel to reload the ratchet which assists the initial opening travel of the dynamic part of the piece of furniture, instead allowing the action of other automatic closing devices attached thereto.
- Yet another object of the invention is to produce a control device for effecting an opening or closing phase of a dynamic part of a piece of furniture which is simple, efficient and hard-wearing.
- the advantage of the new solution is that, as the motor only acts on the spring means for controlling the device, this is not affected by any variations in the weight of the drawer or door and can thus be applied without distinction to any type of dynamic part of a piece of furniture.

- the ratchet 4 is disposed coaxially to the electric motor 3 on the fixed guide 15, and is provided with a head 16 suitable to move in opposition to and by the action of the spring inside the ratchet 4 to be respectively maintained in proximity of the body of the ratchet 4 or ejected therefrom to cause, by acting on a stop 17, opening of the drawer by outward sliding of the pull-out guide 2 with which the stop 17 is integral .
- the ratchet 4 is disposed coaxially to the spindle 14 and the head 16 of the ratchet 4 has a projection 80 which develops laterally to the axis L of movement of the head 16 so that it can engage, as said, with the stop 17 disposed on the pull-out guide 2, as is clearly visible by way of example in Figure 2.
- the ratchet 4 is actuated by exerting pressure, directly or indirectly, on the head 16 thereof.

- the fixed guide 15 is provided with a self-closing device 29 of the drawer of commonly known type, inside which is a tension spring 20 and an attachment element 21 slidable in a shaped guide.
- the pull-out guide 2 tends to return to the initial position and a dragging pin 22, integral therewith, engages with the attachment element 21, causing disengagement thereof from the body 23 in which it is housed and allowing dragging of the pin 22 by the spring 20 which stresses the attachment element 21, towards the closing position.
- the entire system is ready to be reused to open the drawer by applying further pressure thereon.
- the second solution differs from the first solution ( Figures 1-6) only through the addition of a decelerator 30, of known type, suitable to decelerate closing of the drawer so that this operation does not cause noise or other drawbacks due to the sudden impact between drawer and piece of furniture .
- the decelerator 30 is mounted coaxially to the electric motor 3 and to the ratchet 4 on the fixed guide 15 but it can be disposed in any other appropriate position.
- a second stop 31, which develops laterally so that it can engage with the decelerator 30, is instead fixed on the pull-out guide 2.
- the opening and closing phases of the drawer are identical to those described previously.
- the stop 17 is moved away from the head 16 of the ratchet 4 following pressure to the position shown in Figure 8, also causing the second stop 31 to move away from the decelerator 30, as shown in Figure 9.
- the decelerator 30 which can be of any operating type, causes projection of the pusher 32 thereof .

- the system is actuated once more and the door can be closed, using without obstruction any automatic closing devices commonly available, separate or integrated in the hinges.
- a control device according to a fourth preferred embodiment of the invention is shown in Figures 18, 19 and 20a-20f .
- the ratchet 4 is associated with the fixed guide 15 and the self-closing device 29 is also positioned on the fixed guide 15, but these could also be positioned in a different manner on the fixed and pull-out guide.
- the self-closing device 29 presents the containment body 23 mounted on the fixed guide 15, and the attachment element 21, which can be dragged by the integral pin 22 of the pull-out guide 2, is slidable therein.
- the electric motor 3 is positioned in the containment body 23, while the ratchet 4 is outside the containment body 23.
- a rectilinear slot 72 which develops parallel to the axis L, by a first curved slot 73 on the extension of the rectilinear slot 72 and by a cavity or second slot 74 departing from an intermediate point of the rectilinear slot 72.

- the spring 77 acts in safety guaranteeing operation of the control device independently of the time at which external pressure is exerted on the ratchet 4 ( Figure 20b) .
- the spindle of the electric motor 3 retracts with a certain speed and simultaneously the spring 77 can be compressed, ensuring that, even if the external pressure is removed too soon, the attachment element 21 still releases the pin 22.
- the position of the control device, when the external pressure is removed and before the motor loads the spring 20 of the self- closing system is in any case always that shown in Figure 20b, as the safety spring 77 must have sufficient rigidity.
- Compression of the spring 77 and movement of the pin 22 eliminate a first motor block signal, which is associated with the position of the pin 22 corresponding to the closed position of the drawer (position a) , allowing retraction of the spindle to the end of travel .
- a second motor block signal is neutralised by the presence of the attachment element 21, thus allowing movement of the motor 3 spindle to be reversed.
- the pull-out guide 2 is then free to move as a result of the thrust that the stop 17 has received from the ratchet 4 and full opening can be performed by the user.
- the pin 22 has been released from the self-closing system and the motor 3 has been actuated to thrust the attachment element 22, in opposition to the action of the spring 20, to the engaged position thereof with the containment body 23 in which the pin 75 engages in the slot 73. Having reached this position, the spindle of the motor 3 automatically returns to the end of travel position shown in "d" , remaining there due to the presence of the second block signal.
- control device thus conceived is susceptible to numerous modifications and variants, all falling within the inventive concept; moreover all details can be replaced by other technically equivalent details .
