Abstract

The invention relates to a method and to a device for hydrodynamically treating defects in the interior of pipelines, in particular for reclaiming and cleaning water-bearing pipelines (1) in household and industrial areas. A pressure jet nozzle (5) is thereby pushed forward by means of a pushing bar (9) having a high compressive and tensile strength, until the defect in the pipeline (1) is reached. The pressure jet nozzle (5) can have working fluid applied thereto by means of a pressure hose (8) outside of the pipeline system. The pressure jet (7) impinging on the defect location with high kinetic energy thereby eliminates the defect.
