En outre, étant donné qu'une borne de masse installée à une extrémité du module à DEL entre en contact avec la première borne de raccord avant des bornes (+) et (-) qui sont installées sur un côté dudit module à DEL, une surtension, une impulsion de courant (surintensité) et des étincelles électriques peuvent être évitées à l'avance, ce qui protège les DEL contre des chocs électriques. En outre, lorsque l'une des DEL est endommagée, il suffit de remplacer le module à DEL endommagé au lieu de la lampe entière, ce qui se traduit par une réduction des déchets devant être mis au rebut, un entretien très réduit et une excellente capacité d'extension.
