Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé de transmission d'images. Un serveur: reçoit d'un terminal des informations permettant d'estimer un débit de transmission, ou des informations de débit de transmission estimées par le terminal, et des informations d'état du tampon; détermine, sur la base des informations de débit de transmission et des informations d'état du tampon reçues du terminal, un débit de transmission (SR) et un débit binaire d'images (BR) pour la diffusion en continu de données multimédia; et accomplit un processus de diffusion en continu de données multimédia au débit de transmission (SR) et au débit binaire d'images (BR) déterminés, dans un service de diffusion en continu et en temps réel de données d'images animées. Le système de transmission d'images de l'invention comprend: un serveur qui reçoit d'un terminal utilisateur des informations de débit de transmission et des informations d'état du tampon; détermine, sur la base des informations de débit de transmission et des informations d'état du tampon reçues du terminal, un débit de transmission (SR) et un débit binaire d'images (BR); et accomplit un processus de diffusion en continu de données multimédia au débit de transmission (SR) et au débit binaire d'images (BR) déterminés; et le terminal utilisateur qui transmet les informations de débit de transmission et les informations d'état du tampon au serveur, et reçoit de celui-ci des données multimédia diffusées en continu au débit de transmission (SR) et au débit binaire d'images (BR) déterminés. Le procédé de l'invention permet de transmettre des images multimédia de manière appropriée pour la largeur de bande de transmission d'un réseau radiomobile et l'état du tampon du terminal récepteur. L'invention concerne également un service de diffusion en continu de données vidéo pouvant s'adapter à un réseau radiomobile. L'invention permet en outre une lecture en continu d'images vidéo dans le terminal récepteur, au cours d'une session de diffusion en continu et en temps réel d'images vidéo.
