Abstract

La présente invention porte sur des anticorps monoclonaux (MOAbs ou mAbs) spécifiques des antigènes PCBP-1 ou sélectifs de manière préférentielle pour ceux-ci, sur des lignées d'hybridomes qui sécrètent ces anticorps ou des fragments d'anticorps dirigés contre PCBP-1, et sur l'utilisation de tels anticorps et fragments d'anticorps pour détecter des antigènes PCBP-1, en particulier ceux exprimés par des cellules cancéreuses. La présente invention porte également sur des anticorps qui sont spécifiques pour une forme soluble de PCBP-1 ou qui présentent une liaison préférentielle à celle-ci. La présente invention porte en outre sur des anticorps chimériques et humanisés, sur des procédés de fabrication d'anticorps monoclonaux, chimériques et humanisés à l'aide de la technologie de l'ADN recombinant, et sur les utilisations thérapeutiques de ces anticorps, en particulier dans le traitement du cancer. La présente invention porte en outre sur des procédés et des coffrets pour l'immunodétection et l'immunothérapie de cellules pour des échantillons qui expriment des antigènes PCBP-1.
