Abstract

The frictional force between the body of a fast boat and the surface of water is reduced especially at high speeds by fixing wheels of special type at the sides of the boat. The wheels gradually contact the surface of the water at high speed. The wheels spin when they contact the water which allows the boat to be lifted up gradually until the whole weight of the boat is carried by these wheels. This allows the minimum frictional force between the boat and the water.

Description

Fast Boats with Wheels
Introduction :-
Fast boats face big resistance at high speed due to the frictional force between the boat and the surface of the water. This may cause the boat to turn over. More energy and more fuel are needed by the engine to get over this force.
This invention reduces the frictional force between the boat and the surface of water especially at high speed which increases the speed and reduces the energy.
Main Idea:-
To reduce the frictional force between the boat and the surface of the water wheels with special features should be mounted at the sides of the boat (Fig - 1). These wheels should be solid and have the ability to float in water.

Claims

Claims:-
The wheels should be fixed at the two sides of the boat. A special hydraulic mechanism is needed so that the wheels are raised at low speeds and are gradually lowered when the speed is increased to maintain the suitable contact with the surface of the water in order to lift the boat up. This makes the contact to be between the wheels and the surface of the water apart from the body of the boat (Fig - 2). The wheels begin to spin because of their contact with the surface of the water.
