Abstract

L'invention concerne un système d'injection de carburant pour un moteur à combustion interne, comportant : au moins un injecteur électromagnétique de carburant; un module régulateur électronique conçu pour alimenter l'injecteur électromagnétique de carburant, au cours d'une phase d'injection de carburant dans un cylindre de moteur, au moins une première commande électrique permettant d'effectuer une injection pilote de carburant, et une deuxième commande électrique permettant d'effectuer une injection principale de carburant. La première et la deuxième commandes électriques sont séparées en termes de temps par une temporisation de maintien électrique de sorte que l'injection principale de carburant commence sans interruption par rapport à l'injection pilote de carburant. La temporisation de maintien électrique entre la première et la deuxième commandes électriques figure dans une plage de temporisation de maintien électrique dans laquelle le volume total de carburant injecté dans les injections principale et pilote de carburant au cours d'une phase d'injection de carburant dans un cylindre de moteur est sensiblement constant.
