Abstract

L'invention concerne un article comprenant une orthèse ou élément orthopédique (1) qui s'utilise localement et spécifiquement sur une partie du corps d'un patient à soigner et qui comprend des zones de chauffage faisant appel à des éléments chauffants (2) à effet Joule, lesdits éléments chauffants (2) étant connectés au moyen de conducteurs électriques (3) à une unité de commande (4) comportant une source d'alimentation électrique de fonctionnement. Les éléments chauffants (2) sont constitués d'un tissu électrothermique qui comprend des fils ou fibres textiles conductrices, le tissu électrothermique étant formé par broderie ou intégration de ces fils ou des câbles conducteurs en forme de circuit sur le tissu de base de l'orthèse ou élément orthopédique (1).
