Abstract

간단한 구조로 넓은 지향각을 얻을 수 있도록 한 엘이디 패키지 및 엘이디 패키지의 제조방법, 그러한 엘이디 패키지를 채용한 백라이트 유니트와 조명장치, 및 넓은 지향각을 얻을 수 있는 제조방법에 의해 제조된 엘이디 패키지를 채용한 백라이트 유니트와 조명장치를 제시한다. 제시된 엘이디 패키지는 기판, 기판의 일면에 탑재된 발광소자, 기판의 일면에 탑재되되 발광소자 및 발광소자의 주변을 감싸도록 설치된 투명 렌즈, 및 내측면이 투명 렌즈의 외측면에 밀착되어 투명 렌즈를 덮는 형광체 렌즈를 포함한다. 발광소자의 광을 형광체 렌즈를 통해 전체 방향으로 방출시키므로 종래의 에지형(side view) 엘이디 패키지 및 직하형 엘이디 패키지에 비해 지향각이 매우 넓게 된다. 그리고, 본 발명의 실시예의 엘이디 패키지는 반사판을 사용하지 않으므로 종래의 에지형 엘이디 패키지 및 직하형 엘이디 패키지에 비해 구조가 간단하다. 특히, 기존에는 대부분 광원(예컨대, LED칩)을 형광체가 직접 감싸는 형태로 되어 있어서 광원의 광에 의한 형광체의 열화가 쉽게 발생하였으나, 본 발명에 의하면 형광체가 광원(예컨대, LED칩)과 떨어져 있기 때문에 종래에 비해 형광체의 열화 발생율이 적을 뿐만 아니라 휘도 저하 및 색좌표의 쉬프트(shift) 현상이 최소화된다.
