Abstract

La présente invention concerne un séchoir à jets dirigés destiné au séchage d'une nappe de fibres (5) et reposant sur une surface support (2) en regard d'une plaque à buses dont les ouvertures servent à souffler un gaz de séchage en direction de la nappe. Dans la zone de la bordure de la surface support (2) servant à supporter une partie en bordure de la nappe, la distance entre ladite plaque à buses (12) et ladite surface support est supérieure à ce qu'elle est dans la partie centrale de la surface support (11) servant à supporter une partie centrale de la nappe (5).
