Definitions
- Compression element Compression element, compression device and compression system
- the present invention relates to a compression element for closing the opening on a last or Armarte- rie. Further, the invention is directed to a compression device for occluding the opening on a inguinal artery. Furthermore, the invention relates to a compression system comprising a compression element and a compression device.
- the invention has for its object to provide a compression element for closing an arterial opening, which ensures a particularly secure closure of the arterial opening with good adaptation to the body surface.
- This object is achieved in a compression element of the specified type in that it is formed as filled with a gas or a liquid compression pad made of a tear-resistant film.
- the compression pad designed according to the invention achieves a particularly exact placement of the compression because the location of the compression is determined without any possible impairment by the other components of the pressure-transmitting system. Furthermore, the compression pad provides secure sterile coverage of the puncture site and its surroundings. At the same time, it prevents contamination of the remaining components of an associated compression device, thereby minimizing the cost to the individual patient.
- the inventively embodied compression element is filled with a gas or a liquid pad, the consists of a tear-resistant film, wherein the film ⁇ us can consist of two successive welded film sections.
- the upper of the two film sections may be arched over the content, while the lower film section is preferably formed flat.
- the compression pad therefore preferably has a flat underside for placement on the skin of a patient.
- the compression pad is expediently formed at least partially transparent. It is preferably integrated into a larger foil to provide sterility at the skin opening and its surroundings.
- the compression pad on its underside a U-shaped or formed in the form of an interrupted ring adhesive surface, in particular self-adhesive surface, on. This fixes the pillow in the immediate vicinity of the puncture site on the skin.
- the inventively embodied compression pad is preferably used as a disposable material.
- the pad When using the compression pad, after removal of the surgical drapes while the sluice or catheter is still in the puncture opening, the pad is placed symmetrically with respect to the sluice or catheter (the sector without adhesive tape over the sluice or catheter) and on fixed to the skin. The sterile larger film is spread. Only then an associated compression device is placed, which are freely movable relative to the patient got to. Subsequently, a controlled pressure build-up and the removal of sluice or catheter takes place.
- Advantages over the prior art include, in particular, a more accurate and reliable placement of the pressure used for hemostasis, greater sterility assurance, and cost reduction.
- the present invention is also based on the object of providing a compression device for closing the opening on a inguinal artery, which can be used particularly reliably with low material costs.
- a compression device comprising the following components:
- a belt arranged at least at a strap end tensioning device
- At least one support device for the bracket is provided.
- the strap When using the compression device, the strap is placed across the last region of a patient so that the compression part comes to rest over the puncture site and with a corresponding compression element can interact.
- the flexible strap is placed around the patient's body and tensioned with the help of the tensioning device.
- the compression part of the compression device exerts a precisely meterable pressure on the compression element, with which the puncture site is closed.
- the bracket is supported with the supporting device on the opposite side on the body of the patient.
- the supporting device of the compression device preferably has two support elements arranged on both sides of the bracket. In this way, tilting of the bracket is avoided.
- the support elements are expediently designed as plate-shaped elements which are fastened via a corresponding crossbar on the bracket.
- the tensioning device is expediently a threaded rod with a screw.
- the strap end preferably has a hole or a slot on the side of the compression through which the threaded rod extends.
- the threaded rod can be screwed to the arranged on the temple end screw.
- the bracket for adjusting its length is in particular telescopically extendable and collapsible. This detail also makes it possible to change the angle between the support device and the pressure-transmitting plate, if a different height of the support is required. position points of the support device would lead to an inclination of the plate.
- the compression part preferably has a plate for interaction with the compression element.
- the plate may in this case be flat or curved.
- Other embodiments of the compression part in adaptation to a compression element are of course also feasible.
- the compression ⁇ on part has a spring-mounted on the bracket bar for interacting with a compression element, in particular a ner pad.
- the compression member is non-elastically mounted on the bracket and preferably cooperates with an elastic compression element
- the compression member itself is resiliently mounted on the bracket and preferably cooperates with a non-elastic compression element, such as a pad.
- a non-elastic compression element such as a pad.
- a pad may be formed of solid sterilizable material. It is placed on the rod of the compression part, wherein the rod is connected, for example via a compression spring with the bracket of the compression device. At the other end of the rod can be read on the principle of a spring balance on a scale, the degree of shortening of the spring as a measure of the pressure applied.
- This solution has compared to on page 2, 24 ff described system has the advantage that it is suitable for the entire duration of treatment and allows pressure measurement
- the compression device, d. H. the pressure-generating apparatus therefore comprises essentially two parts, a bracket to be placed across the patient and a textile belt which, in use, lies under the patient and is in turn connected to the bracket.
- the stirrup maintains a stable position over the patient by resting on three points (via the support at two points and via a compression element as the third point).
- the compression part, which comes into contact with the compression element is preferably transparent.
- the support via the supporting device is expediently carried out in the opposite groin region.
- the pressure is preferably generated in use on the side of the compression part in use by the tensioning device is tensioned here, d. H. the end of the strap is pulled against the strap (wrench).
- the compression device is provided with a pressure gauge. In this way, the pressure exerted on the skin can be read off and adjusted via the tensioning device.
- the pressure generated is measured with a pressure measuring device (pressure transducer between the compression element and the compression part) and, for example, digitally shows. Also a mechanical measurement with analog display is possible.
- the bracket is provided with two compression parts and expediently has two spaced apart support devices.
- the bracket must be equipped on both sides with a compression part, which then interacts with two compression elements.
- the distance between the two compression parts can be adapted to the distance between the two groin arteries, since the bracket between two compression parts for adjusting its length is telescopically extendable and collapsible.
- the apparatus must have a pressure generating jig on both sides. Since the bracket rests in this case only at two points, tilting of the device must be prevented so that a support device is provided in each inguinal region, each one cross arm with two adjustable in height feet provides the necessary stability.
- the invention has for its object to provide a compression system available. This object is achieved by a compression system having a compression device and a compression element of the type described above. This compression mystery is characterized by net, that it has a compression device of the type described above.
- the inventively designed compression system has a number of advantages.
- the location of the compression can be determined by attaching (sticking) the compression pad independently of the other parts of the system and is not changed by the placement of the compression device (the pressure-generating apparatus). This exact placement also allows slim patients to choose extra small compression pads.
- a film is used to cover the puncture site and its environment sterile and protect other parts of the system from contamination. By resting on at least three points, tilting of the compression device is prevented.
- the compression pressure can be adjusted reliably and precisely controlled.
- the textile belt of the compression device can be washed, and the remaining reusable parts can be made of largely wear-resistant material (such as stainless steel), which keeps the running costs low.
