Abstract

L'invention concerne une membrane dans laquelle la surface en contact avec un fluide à traiter présente des motifs répétés convexes-concaves. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production de ladite membrane consistant à : (i) imprégner un moule, dont une surface présente des motifs répétés convexes-concaves, d'une solution polymère pour former un stratifié à couche polymère moulée, ladite couche polymère présentant une surface dotée de motifs d'images inverses à ceux du moule étant formée sur les motifs du moule; et (ii) retirer le stratifié à couche polymère moulée du moule. Du fait que la membrane de l'invention présente une surface à motifs, la zone de filtration en contact avec le fluide à traiter est augmentée, et ladite membrane est protégée contre une couche de gâteau qui autrement pourrait coller à la membrane et entraîner une contamination de cette dernière. En conséquence, la membrane de l'invention permet d'améliorer significativement la performance de filtration lorsqu'elle est appliquée dans des procédés de traitement d'eau.
