Abstract

The present invention relates to a connecting rod for spinal fixation that enables a damaged vertebra to be fixed with ease and stability by connecting it to a vertebral connecting rod that has been fixed to the vertebra by a prior procedure. The connecting rod for spinal fixation of the present invention comprises a connecting rod that is furnished with a first curved part and a second curved part so that its one end part and another end part may be isolated from each other and formed in parallel with each other, and a connecting means that connects the one end part of said connecting rod with the vertebral fixation rod that has been fixed to the vertebra by a prior procedure.
