Abstract

La présente invention porte sur un panneau tactile disposé sur une surface supérieure d'un dispositif d'affichage (20) et permettant de détecter le contact d'un corps humain ou d'un objet, et de générer un signal correspondant à la position du contact. Le panneau tactile de la présente invention comprend : un premier substrat (40) et un second substrat (60) faits de matériaux optiquement transparents, opposés l'un à l'autre et séparés par un espace prédéterminé formé au moyen d'une pluralité d'espaceurs (25) ; une pluralité de premières lignes de signaux (42) et de secondes lignes de signaux (44), agencées dans une direction verticale ou horizontale sur le premier substrat (40) ou sur le second substrat (60) ; une cellule tactile (50) comprenant un premier tampon conducteur (46) et un second tampon conducteur (48), agencés en paire, formés sur le premier substrat (40) ou sur le second substrat (60) dans une pluralité de sections obtenues par division de la région active dans laquelle se produit le contact, ledit premier tampon conducteur (46) étant connecté aux premières lignes de signaux (42) et ledit second tampon conducteur (48) étant connecté aux secondes lignes de signaux (44) et séparé du premier tampon conducteur (46) par un espace prédéterminé ; une couche conductrice transparente (62), formée sur le substrat qui fait face au substrat portant la cellule tactile (50), qui entre en contact avec le premier tampon conducteur (46) et le second tampon conducteur (48) et se connecte électriquement avec eux en cas de contact exercé par un corps humain ou un objet ; une unité d'émission/réception du signal de détection de position (70), servant à appliquer un signal de détection de position aux premières lignes de signaux (42) et recevant un signal de détection de position provenant des secondes lignes de signaux (44) lorsque le premier tampon conducteur (46) et le second tampon conducteur (48) sont électriquement connectés ; et une unité de détection de la position du toucher (70), permettant l'acquisition, à partir du signal de détection de position reçu, d'une valeur de coordonnées de la cellule tactile (50), correspondant à l'endroit où le toucher s'est produit. Le panneau tactile de la présente invention prévient la dégradation de la transmissivité, améliore la vitesse de réponse, prévient les bruits ou les opérations erronées provoqués par l'environnement extérieur, permet de réduire les coûts de fabrication, facilite une production en masse et diminue de manière significative le ratio de défauts.
