Abstract

L'invention concerne un écarteur pour le blanchissement des dents. Cet écarteur présente, pour être maintenu dans la partie avant des dents, un rail cintré en arc de cercle et doté, dans ses parties inférieure et supérieure, d'un appendice en forme de collet ou de bourrelet par lequel la lèvre supérieure et la lèvre inférieure sont écartées l'une de l'autre de manière à permettre le passage d'une lumière UV de l'extérieur sur les dents avant. La partie de l'écarteur tournée vers l'extérieur est dotée d'une ouverture qui libère les dents avant et dans laquelle différents éléments de recouvrement partiel interchangeables peuvent être insérés. Avec ces éléments de recouvrement partiel, la gencive peut être protégée de la lumière UV en fonction du rapport d'étendue entre la gencive et la longueur des dents.
