Abstract

The present invention relates to a sealing cap for a container, and, more particularly, to a sealing cap configured to hermetically seal various types of containers after opening, by re-closing the container with a cap, in order to prevent contents in the container not only from leaking but also from spoiling. The sealing cap of the present invention, that opens and closes an opening of a container, includes: a cover (10) that fastens onto the opening (2); a resilient spring (20) comprising an outer coil (22) seated inside the cover (10), and an inner coil (24) wound within the outer coil (22); a tight-fitting ring (30) coupled to the bottom end of the outer coil (22); and a sheet (40) fitted tightly against the opening (2)sealing cap for a container of the container by means of the tight-fitting ring (30) and expanded into the opening (2) by means of the inner coil (24).
