Abstract

L'invention porte sur un ventilateur centrifuge, qui comporte, à l'intérieur d'une enceinte externe, un moteur électrique auquel est reliée une hélice, un carter pour entourer l'hélice et comportant, formée dans une face de celui-ci, une ouverture d'aspiration en forme d'embouchure en cloche, un orifice en forme d'embouchure en cloche concentrique à l'ouverture d'aspiration et comportant une ouverture d'aspiration ayant un diamètre équivalent à celui de l'ouverture d'aspiration, des saillies disposées dans un espace de résonance entouré par l'orifice, le carter et l'enceinte externe, et des cavités formées entre les saillies. La construction réduit le bruit d'une plage de fréquences large et produit par le ventilateur centrifuge.
