Abstract

L'invention porte sur un nouveau procédé de préparation d'une D ou L-α-glycérophosphorylcholine racémique ou optiquement active et d'un dérivé de cette dernière possédant d'excellents effets thérapeutiques sur les symptômes secondaires entraînés par une attaque cérébrovasculaire et par le syndrome encéphalique organique dégénératif. En particulier, l'invention se rapporte à un procédé économique permettant une production massive de la D ou L-α-glycérophosphorylcholine racémique ou optiquement active et de son dérivé, avec un niveau de pureté et un rendement élevés. Le procédé selon l'invention permet de provoquer une réaction d'ouverture de cycle d'un (S) or (R)-glycidol racémique facultativement de grande pureté et d'un dérivé de ce dernier, en faisant appel à de la choline phosphate comme matière de départ dans une solution à température ambiante, et en utilisant ensuite des bases inorganiques ou des acides de Lewis pour augmenter la vitesse de réaction dans la solution.
