Abstract
Cette invention concerne des systèmes, des dispositifs et des procédés pour identifier des biopolymères, tels que des brins d'ADN, au fur et à mesure qu'ils traversent un élément de constriction tel qu'un nanopore de nanotube de carbone. Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne des systèmes, des dispositifs et des procédés dans lesquels un fragment qui vient d'être transloqué du biopolymère forme un circuit électrique temporaire entre le nanopore du nanotube de carbone et une seconde électrode, qui peut également être un nanotube. En outre, l'invention concerne des systèmes, des dispositifs et des procédés dans lesquels l'élément de constriction est pourvu d'une unité fonctionnalisée qui, conjointement avec un fragment qui vient d'être transloqué du biopolymère, forme un circuit électrique temporaire qui peut être utilisé pour caractériser ledit fragment du biopolymère.
