Abstract

The invention relates to an apparatus for attaching stereoscopic image display panels in the process of horizontal/vertical alignment thereof.  An apparatus for attaching stereoscopic image display panels according to the invention comprises: a position adjustment unit which adjusts an attaching position of a stereoscopic panel and a display module either to a horizontal direction or to a vertical direction, the stereoscopic panel selectively showing an image on the left side and an image on the right side for the implementation of a stereoscopic image, the display module illuminating an image light onto the stereoscopic panel; an image identifying unit which includes a first camera located on the top of the position adjustment unit, taking one of two symmetric positions with respect to the central portion in the horizontal direction via the central portion of the stereoscopic panel and the central portion of the display module, and a second camera located on one of two symmetric positions with respect to the central portion in the vertical direction via the central portion of the stereoscopic panel and the central portion of the display module; and an attaching unit for attaching the stereoscopic panel and the display module.  The image identifying unit photographs, by the first camera, the stereoscopic image displayed on the stereoscopic panel and on the display module to identify a horizontally divided state of the stereoscopic image into the image on the left side and the image on the right side, and identifies, by the second camera, a vertically divided state of the stereoscopic image into the image on the left side and the image on the right side.
