Abstract

L'invention porte sur des procédés et sur un appareil pour séparer des articles dans un transporteur de séparation ayant un transporteur d'élimination, ou de séparation, pour retirer des articles non en file indienne et les amener à recirculer ou les rediriger. Le transporteur d'élimination a une partie courroie transporteuse de transfert qui fait passer des articles reçus en une file indienne à partir d'un transporteur d'alimentation hors de l'extrémité en aval du dispositif de séparation et une seconde partie courroie transporteuse latéralement adjacente, ayant des rouleaux qui tournent pour dévier les articles non en file indienne vers ou hors du côté du transporteur d'élimination. Un transporteur de recirculation reçoit des articles déviés hors du côté du transporteur d'élimination et les renvoie au transporteur d'alimentation. Pour réalimenter des articles déviés au transporteur de séparation en aval, un transporteur recevant des articles provenant de l'extrémité en aval de la seconde courroie transporteuse fournit un trajet parallèle aux articles de transfert et les alimente sur un transporteur d'alignement en aval pour qu'ils se regroupent à nouveau dans le flux.
