Abstract

The pipe (1) is made up of a tube (2) and of at least one union (3) positioned at one end of the tube. It comprises resistive electric heating means (8) running the length of the tube (2), it being possible for these means to consist of a resistive wire embedded within the thickness of the tube. The pipe (1) further comprises, supplied with power by the same means (4) of connection as the aforesaid heating means (8), means (9) that use thermal conduction to transfer a heating power to the region of the union (3). These means of transfer preferably comprise a sleeve (9) with good thermal conductivity properties, connecting a terminal region (2a) of the tube (2) to the inside of the union (3). The invention applies to pipes for conveying various fluids, such as air, fuel, oil or washer fluid, in motor vehicles.
