Abstract

The present invention relates to a stone panel comprising a top layer, wherein the top layer comprises stone having a surface suitable for forming a floor surface or wall surface when the stone panel is in use; a middle layer comprising a heating assembly which is configured such that it is capable of heating the top layer, and a bottom layer configured to provide structural support to the top and middle layers and wherein the bottom layer comprises thermally insulating material.The present invention also relates to a method of manufacturing these stone panels and to a control system operable to selectively power one or more of these stone panels.
