Abstract

The invention is attributed to furniture designed for sitting, specifically to the field of folding/convertible chairs. The folding chair is made of integral form (1), the side edges are connected, and an additional fixing element (5) is in vertical components (2). The folding chair contains vertical front and rear components (2), two side components (3) and the sitting part (4).

Technical Field

The present invention relates to furniture designed for sitting, in particular to folding, convertible and dismountable chairs. The invention is intended to apply in places of people gathering, where temporary sitting places for unlimited number of people are required.

Background Art

There are the analogous chairs known, described in the Argentinean Patent AR246412, the French Patent FR2748193 and the German Utility Model Application DE202005008829.3, applicant is Tillmann Verpackungen GmbH. The chair described in the French Patent FR2748193 consists of sitting part shaped of triangular surfaces and the back. The chair is made in several sections.

The chair of Tillmann Verpackugen GmbH contains the armrests, with two side sections, one section of sitting part and one section intended for back, both side sections have bottom legs and upper sections designed for armrests, those sections are dismountable.

The main disadvantage of all those solutions is a high consumption of material, structures of the chairs are complicated, it is hard to mount and dismount them. In order to assemble the chair into more compact shape it is required to dismount it into separate components. The chair of Tillmann Verpackungen GmbH is the most allied analogue to the proposed invention. It has the following disadvantages: it is impossible to fold up the chair: a compact assemblage can be done if the chair is dismounted; it is hard to assemble the chair, the assemblage is time consuming; the dismounted chair takes much space, transportation is complicated; steel springs are used thus an organic utilization of the chair is complicated; material consuming production thus the price is high. Summary of Invention

The chair produced according to the proposed invention has no above-mentioned disadvantages. Production of such chair is easy and inexpensive. This can be attained by folding up and pasting of an integral form. The produced chair contains a sitting component and four vertical components: the front, the rear and two side components. This form can be made of corrugated board or any other material with similar properties.

This solution has the following advantages: the structure is made on one type material, utilization is simple; the folded up chair takes little space thus transportation is easy; the upside-down chair may be used as a capacity (for example, at picnic, for carrying of food, etc. from car).

Description of Embodiment

In Fig. 1 is shown shape 1 of evolvent of the folding chair. Vertical front and rear parts 2 of the chair are prolonged over the folding line and there are vertical parts 3 and a sitting part 4. Additional fixing elements 5 are pasted or fixed in any other way on prospected vertical part 2 of the chair on the evolvent shape 1 of the chair.

Viability of the invention:

The evolvent shape 1 of the chair is cut of corrugated board or any other material having similar properties (Fig.l).

The vertical front and rear parts 2 are acquired upon folding up the evolvent shape 1 of the chair. The external edges of the vertical front and rear parts 2 of the evolvent shape 1 of the chair are prolonged from the folding line, turned inside and connected mutually, they make inner duplex vertical edges of solidity, Fig. 2 c) side parts 3 of the chair. The chair is pasted in five places. Such the chair is folded up during transportation, as shown in a) of Fig. 2, and outspreaded before its use, as shown in b), c) of Fig. 2. Such operations take some seconds.

Claims

Claim 1. The folding chair comprising two vertical side parts (3) and a sitting part (4), characterized in that it has an integral shape (1) of the chair, the vertical front and rear parts (2) are prolonged and connected thus make the side parts (3).

Claim 2. The folding chair according to claim 1, characterized in that the vertical front and rear parts (2) of the evolvent shape (1) are prolonged outside the folding line and are both bonded or connected in any other way and compound the inner duplex vertical edges of solidity, side parts (3).

Claim 3. The folding chair according to claims 1, 2, characterized in that the fixing elements (5) are fixed on inner part of vertical front and rear parts (2), throughout all the height, the plate of corrugated board or any other similar material.

Claim 4. The folding chair according to claims 1 to 3, characterized in that it can be made of board or any other material with similar properties.
