Abstract

Apparatus for, and a method of, securing an item relative to a support surface. A magnetic clip is configurable between a receiving configuration and a clipping configuration. The magnetic clip comprises first and second magnetic elements, each having an obverse face and a reverse face. The first and second reverse faces are arranged to magnetically co-operate to secure a received item between the first and second reverse faces, and at least one of the first and second obverse faces presents a magnetically attractive surface. Magnetic coupling apparatus comprising a magnetic clip and a second part for mounting to a support surface. The second part and an obverse face of the magnetic clip are arranged to magnetically co-operate, whereby the magnetic coupling apparatus is configured to allow an item to be coupled relative to the second part by means of the first part.
