Abstract

Selon l'invention, un générateur d'énergie solaire comprend un système (10) pour concentrer des rayons solaires (R), des moyens (12) pour absorber et accumuler la chaleur de rayons solaires concentrés par le système de concentration (10), et un équipement d'utilisation d'énergie (14) connecté de manière opérationnelle aux moyens d'absorption et d'accumulation (12). Les moyens d'absorption et d'accumulation (12) comprennent un corps creux (20) avec une chambre (22) qui est sensiblement isotherme à haute température (supérieure à environ 800°C), et qui est utilisée dans un cycle thermodynamique à haut rendement, par exemple, un cycle gaz du type turbine à gaz ou un cycle vapeur pour la génération d'électricité sans aucune émission. Le corps creux (20) reçoit une pluralité de capsules (30) contenant un matériau ou composé à deux phases avec une température de transition de phase sensiblement dans la région de la plage de températures qui peuvent être atteintes à l'intérieur de la chambre (22).
