Abstract

L’invention concerne un procédé de génération d’électricité par combustion oxygaz. Du combustible carboné et du gaz oxydant sont amenés dans un four. Dans un premier mode de fonctionnement, le gaz oxydant comprend un courant d’oxygène sensiblement pur, convoyé depuis une alimentation en oxygène pour brûler le combustible avec l’oxygène et produire ainsi un gaz d’échappement contenant essentiellement du dioxyde de carbone et de l’eau. Le gaz d’échappement est déchargé du four et est divisé en une partie de recyclage et une partie finale. La partie de recyclage est recyclée dans le four. La chaleur est transférée de la partie finale au courant d’oxygène sensiblement pur, en faisant circuler un milieu liquide de transfert de chaleur dans un passage ménagé entre un refroidisseur de gaz d’échappement et un réchauffeur d’oxygène.
