Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de sécurité pour un siège de véhicule automobile (1) qui présente un rembourrage (3), ledit dispositif comportant un airbag (5) qui est couplé à un générateur de gaz (6), lequel est activé en présence de données de capteur concernant un accident ou l'imminence d'un accident et remplit l'airbag (5) de gaz et le déploie ; et un activateur (8) au moyen duquel un coussin de gaz séparé (7) peut être en outre rempli de gaz de manière répétitive et réversible. Le coussin de gaz (7) est relié à l'airbag (5) par l'intermédiaire d'un élément d'accouplement (9). L'élément d'accouplement (9) ouvre une ouverture de ventilation (11) ou forme une telle ouverture dans le coussin de gaz (7) lorsque l'airbag (5) est déployé. L'invention concerne également un siège de véhicule automobile (1) équipé d'un tel dispositif de sécurité.
