Abstract

　本発明の撮像ユニットは、被写体側に凸面を向けた正の屈折力を有するメニスカス形状の第１レンズと、撮像面側に凸面を向けた正の屈折力を有するメニスカス形状の第２レンズと、撮像面側に凸面を向けた負の屈折力を有するメニスカス形状の第３レンズと、固体撮像装置の結像面（３１ａ）近傍に配置され、一方の面が平面で、他方の面が曲率を持つ面である、負の屈折力を有する第４レンズと有している。これにより、４枚構成でありながらレンズ系の全長を短くするとともに、レンズ有効径の小型化を実現することができる撮像レンズ体、及び撮像レンズ体を備えた撮像ユニット、並びに該撮像ユニットを搭載した携帯型情報端末を提供する。
