Abstract
吸蔵還元型NOx触媒に対するSOx被毒回復制御をより短期間で完了することの可能な技術を提供する。 SOx被毒回復制御中において、NOx触媒のSOx吸蔵量の減少に起因するSOx放出速度のSOx被毒回復制御開始時に対する低下度合い(SOx放出速度低下度合いDdw)を推定する。そして、SOx放出速度低下度合いDdwが大きくなるに従って、触媒床温Tcをより高温側の目標温度Tctまで昇温させると共に、排気空燃比A/Fをよりリッチ側の目標空燃比A/Ftまで低下させることにより、SOx被毒回復制御中のSOx放出速度Vsoxが低下することを抑制する。
