Abstract

 移動通信システムにおけるユーザ装置は、在圏セルの周波数で下り制御信号を受信する手段と、異周波測定用の所定のイベントが発生したことに応じて、下り制御信号の受信タイミングの合間に、在圏セルの周波数とは異なる周波数でセルサーチを行う手段とを有する。下り制御信号の受信タイミング間隔が、基地局装置から通知された閾値より短い場合であって、異周波測定用の所定のイベントが発生した場合、受信タイミング間隔とは異なる基地局装置から通知された周期で異周波測定が行われる。或いは、基地局装置により指定された異周波測定インジケータが所定値を示す場合、所定のイベントが発生すると、自装置で決定したタイミングで異周波測定が行われ、異周波測定インジケータが別の所定値を示す場合、間欠受信周期とは異なる基地局装置により指定されたタイミングで異周波測定が行われる。
