  • the lottery machine is prepared for operation as follows: The balls 4 are checked up for conformity to requirements. The machine's internal space is cleaned up, dedusted, and disinfected, after which the balls 4 are placed onto the bottom matrix 7 and the transparent container 1 is closed to the lower container 13. The internal space can be sealed hermetically through the orifice 16. The gas present in the hermetically sealed space is used as working gas when a draw is performed. The machine is ready for operation.
  • a draw is performed as follows: At the initial instant, the distributing valve 11.3 is in a position allowing the compressor 3 to blast air in the central nozzle 2 and in all nozzles 8. By applying a signal from the control panel 5, the compressor 3 is turned on and through the gas outlet 11.1, funnel-shaped equalizer 12 and all air ducts 12.1 it starts blasting air through all the nozzles. Holders 10 stabilize the structure during the process. Air flows going out of the nozzles 8 take up the balls 4 and start blowing them upward. The balls 4 strike against the internal surface of the transparent container 1 and fall back downward, which ensure their chaotic mixing. As the number of the balls 4 is small - there are only X of them - mixing can terminate after a short period of time, preferring a period of 5 to 10 s.
  • a signal is applied from the control panel 5 to the valve 11.3 in the controllable pneumatic distributor 11, which closes and re-directs the air flow through the ring-shaped opening 14 directly into the area between the transparent container 1 and bottom matrix 7.
  • Said air flow presses the 4 downward and they hit arbitrary receiving pockets 9.
  • the compressor 3 sucks out the gas through nozzles 8 and in such a way accelerates the hitting of receiving pockets 9 by the balls 4 as well as ensures their temporary fixing in those pockets 9 until reading out the draw.
  • these X balls are fixed in X pockets 9 of all the pockets 9 ⁇ , it is assumed that the draw has been performed.
  • the commission is in position to determine visually the numbers of those pockets 9 which have been hit by the balls 4. If pockets 9 are provided with hit-recording sensors 17, there is another possibility consisting in transmitting a signal from these sensors 17 along the data bus 5.1 to the control panel 5 and to the information unit 18, respectively, with purpose of showing on the display 19 the sequence of X numbers of the pockets 9 hit by the balls 4. There is a possibility to transfer remotely this information through the communication output 20 to other information devices as macro-displays, television and radio-broadcasting stations, etc. (not shown in the figure). The next draw can be performed immediately after reading out the result of the previous one. In such a way, the time needed for performing multiple consecutive draws is minimized for it does not includes stages of returning balls to an initial position.
  • the cylinder 6 forms the peripheral ring-shaped opening 14 together with the external wall of the peripheral shielding funnel-shaped ring 15.
  • the upward-tapered section of the funnel-shaped ring 15 prevents the balls 4 from being sucked to some point of the ring-shaped opening 14 at the end of the draw.
  • a visual effect of complexity is created by rotating the bottom matrix 7 when a draw is performed. That rotation is provided by the motor 26 and the drive gear 27, engaged in the concentric toothed rim 28.
  • the hermetic sealing between the rotating narrow pipe 11.1.2 of the funnel-shaped equalizer 12 and the external fixed outlet pipe 11.1.1 of the pneumatic distributor 11 is provided by the shaft seal 11.4.
  • the smooth rotation of the bottom matrix 7 is ensured by the rolls 24 which are rolling in the ring-shaped guiding trough 25. As the rotation does not allow signals from sensors 17 to be sent through a cable, their outputs are connected to the control panel by means of a wireless connection 29.
  • the lottery machine makes possible the realization of a great variety of games, where additional symbols are designated on the balls 4 and/or the pockets 9.
  • the balls 4, the number of which is X 5 may be painted in different colors.
  • the bottom matrix 7 may be divided into X fields corresponding to the same colors.
  • draw prizes may be defined in accordance with the number of coincidences between the field of certain color and the color of the ball 4 that has hit a pocket 9 on the field featuring the same color as that ball 4.
  • the highest prize should be awarded to that person who has guessed not only the numbers of pockets 9, but also the coincidence of the colors of balls 4 with the fields of corresponding colors in the matrix 7.
  • plugs 21 it is possible to block a part of the receiving pockets 9 and as a result of this they do not participate in the draw. In such a way, by using the same lottery machine, modifying the number X of the balls 4 and the number Y of the pockets 9 participating in the draw permits realizing draws for various games, e. g. 6 of 49, 6 of 42, 5 of 35, etc.
  • the receiving pocket of the additional non-numbered central field 9.0 may perform the functions of zero in the game of roulette. For instance, when one of the balls 4 hits the receiving pocket of the additional non-numbered central field 9.0 all stakes are left in favor of the "bank".
  • the balls 4 carry advertisements of different companies that have awarded prizes of their own, hitting the receiving pocket of the additional non-numbered central field 9.0 by one of these balls 4 may lead to prize payment by that company to all persons who have forecasted a hit of the receiving pocket of the additional non-numbered central field 9.0 by a ball 4 in their forms.
  • the show effect of the game is improved, when the receiving pockets 9 are arranged on the matrix 7 in various geometrical lines and/or figures under preserving the same probability of being hit by the balls 4 for all receiving pockets 9 (Figs. 3.2 and 3.5).
  • the show effect is additionally increased if the transparent gas in the machine is an inert and/or phosphorescent one.
  • the receiving pockets 9 are arranged on the matrix 7 in various geometrical lines and/or figures, by creating different probabilities for hits of the balls 4 on all the receiving pockets 9, it is possible to realize games awarding an increased prize for a hit on pockets 9 of lesser hitting probability (Figs. 3.1, 3.3, and 3.4).
  • the receiving pockets 9 are arranged on the matrix 7 in the form of a chessboard pattern (Fig. 3.4), it is not necessary to number the pockets 9 as they are defined by their chess code. In this example, it is appropriate to realize a game 8 of 64 with the additional option of "black or white". In this case, the greatest prize corresponds to guessing all the eight pockets 9 and that all of them are only white or only black.

Abstract

L'invention concerne une machine de pari. Elle bénéficie d'une application étendue et d'une fiabilité et d'une attractivité accrues. Elle comprend un récipient semi-sphérique (1) transparent doté d'une tuyère inférieure centrale (2) reliée à la sortie d'un compresseur (3) destiné à un gaz transparent non dangereux qui est dépoussiéré, séché et désinfecté. Dans ledit récipient (1) se trouvent X boules non numérotées (4), le numéro X correspondant au nombre de X nombres à prélever dans un groupe de Y nombres. Un tableau de commande (5) est relié audit compresseur (3). Dans sa partie inférieure, le récipient (1) débouche dans un cylindre (6) fermé par une matrice inférieure (7) dotée de multiples tuyères (8), dont le nombre est égal au nombre Y. Toutes les tuyères (2) et (8) comportent des poches de réception (9). Toutes les tuyères sont reliées au compresseur (3). Un récipient inférieur (13) est hermétiquement scellé à la surface de fixation annulaire inférieure dudit récipient semi-sphérique (1).
