Abstract

A drum-type washing machine with a means for removing remnant moisture inside comprising: a cabinet; a door configured to open/close an inlet formed at the cabinet; a tub mounted in the cabinet; a drum rotatably mounted in the tub; a circulation duct installed in the cabinet and configured to allow air to flow into the drum; and a controller configured to control an operation of the washing machine, wherein the controller controls such that air is supplied into the tub and the drum via the circulation duct for a certain time after completely washing laundry and drawing the laundry out.
