Abstract
本発明の電極触媒は、X 線回折による結晶構造がZrO1/2N
であり、30℃の0.1mol/L 硫酸水溶液中で、走査速度5mV/s で電位走査したとき、酸素還元電流が流れ始める時の電位が可逆水素電極電位基準で0.75V 以上となること、またイオン化ポテンシャルが5.4eV 以下であることを特徴とする。 本発明の電極触媒は、触媒能及び安定性に優れており、本発明の電極触媒を用いた電極は、例えば水や有機物の電気分解、燃料電池等の電極として用いるのに好適である。
