Abstract

Disclosed is an organic photoelectric converter having a layer containing a fullerene derivative represented by the formula (1) below. (In the formula (1), m represents an integer of 1-6; n represents an integer of 1-4; p represents an integer of 0-5; r represents an integer of 0-4; and Q represents a group represented by the formula (2) or (3) below. When there are a plurality of m's, they may be the same as or different from each other. In the formulae (2) and (3), R1 and R2 independently represent a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or an aryl group, and a hydrogen atom contained in these groups may be substituted by a halogen atom; q represents an integer of 0-7; and v represents an integer of 0-5. When there are a plurality of R1's, they may be the same as or different from each other. When there are a plurality of R2's, they may be the same as or different from each other.)
