Abstract

　本発明は、接続対象物との接触方向と直交する方向に延びる屈折部が設けられた端子を用いた場合にインピーダンス整合を行うことの可能なコネクタを提供する。ケーブル側コネクタを挿入可能なシールド部材１０と、ケーブル側コネクタとの接触方向、即ち前後方向に延びるようにシールド部材１０内に配置され、上下方向に延びる屈折部２２が接続部２１と接触部２４との間に設けられた端子２０と、屈折部２２を除く端子２０の一部（真直部２３）を直接覆うように形成され、所定の誘電率を有するハウジング３０と、端子２０の屈折部２２に取付可能に形成され、屈折部２２におけるコネクタの特性インピーダンスを変化させるキャップ４０とを備えたので、ハウジング３０及びキャップ４０を用いて、屈折部２２における特性インピーダンスと真直部２３における特性インピーダンスを整合させることができる。従って、上下方向に延びる屈折部２２が設けられた端子２０を用いた場合でもインピーダンス整合を行うことができ、高周波特性を改善させることができる。
