Abstract

 本発明の目的は、ヒト間葉系幹細胞が含まれる細胞集団から、ヒト間葉系幹細胞を高度に濃縮する方法を提供することである。ヒト間葉系幹細胞を高度に濃縮するには、フローサイトメトリー等を用いて、ヒト間葉系幹細胞が含まれる細胞集団から、CD271+CD90+細胞を回収する。また、その細胞集団に血球細胞が含まれる場合(例えば、骨髄、末梢血等から調製した細胞集団)には、CD45-CD235a-CD271+CD90+細胞を回収する。これらの細胞分画には、自己複製能、自己増殖能、及び多分化能を兼ね備えた間葉系幹細胞が高純度に含まれる。従って、ヒト間葉系幹細胞が含まれる細胞集団から、CD271+CD90+細胞を回収すれば、ヒト間葉系幹細胞を高度に濃縮することができる。
