Abstract
A blood testing device and a blood sensor, in which those inside and outside portions of a device body which are around an optical system and around a piercing position are not contaminated and which are easily and conveniently used by eliminating the need of replacement of a structuring element. The blood testing device is adapted such that laser emission openings (8A, 9B) of the blood sensor (3) are covered with a film (10) that is a laser beam transmissive cover. Further, the blood testing device has a first negative pressure route for causing negative pressure on the skin side of the blood sensor (3) and also has a second negative pressure route for causing negative pressure on the film (10) side, or the laser beam transmissive cover side. Fluid resistance in the second negative pressure route is adapted to be lower than the fluid resistance in the first negative pressure route.
