Abstract

 本発明は、C. ハイオインテスティナリスの細胞膨張化致死毒CDTおよびそれをコードするポリヌクレオチドの提供、およびcdt遺伝子を利用したC. ハイオインテスティナリスの新規検出方法の提供を課題とする。  発明者らは、カンピロバクター属細菌の細胞膨張化致死毒(CDT)に着目し、C. ジェジュニ、C. コリとC. フィータスのcdtA、cdtB およびcdtC 遺伝子を特異的に検出できるマルチプレックスPCR 法では増幅されないが、これら3菌種共通プライマーでcdtB遺伝子が増幅される菌株を、タイの腸炎患者から分離したカンピロバクター属様細菌のcdt遺伝子を検出することにより見出した。16S rRNA 遺伝子解析から、この菌株をC. ハイオインテスティナリスと同定し、さらに、cdtB遺伝子の上流、下流についてゲノムウォーキングにより、cdt遺伝子の全塩基配列を決定した。
