Abstract
A buoyant solar still apparatus comprising: an evaporation and distillation chamber; and valve means adapted to allow liquid to be distilled to enter the chamber from its exterior, wherein the valve means is further adapted to maintain the volume of liquid in the chamber below a predetermined threshold volume.
