Abstract

 本発明により提供される電池(100)は、正極および負極を備える電極体(80)と、当該電極体を収容する外装ケース(50)とを備える電池であって、当該外装ケースの内壁面(56)と電極体(80)との間には当該外装ケースと電極体とを隔離する絶縁フィルム(10)が配置されている。そして、該絶縁フィルム(10)は電極体(80)が挿入される袋状に形成されており、その袋状絶縁フィルム(10)は、電極体(80)の側面(81)に対向する面に当該電極体と外装ケースの内壁面(56)との隙間を塞ぐ間隙充填部(20)を備える。
