Abstract

The invention relates to a trimming panel that comprises at least one area (8) defining an icon, said icon being lit by a light source (10) provided under the trimming panel (1), the trimming panel (1) including a translucent skin (2) defining the outer surface (6) of the panel (1) and a flexible foam layer (4) under the translucent skin (2). The foam layer (4) includes an opening (16) formed opposite the flow path of the light emitted by the light source (10) and the area (8) defining the icon, a member of a flexible translucent material (18) being attached to the skin (2) in said opening (16) so as to transmit the light from the light source (10) to the skin (2) in the area (8) defining an icon.
