Abstract

 消音構造体2から酸化触媒3への排気ガスの分散性が良好で且つコンパクトな排気浄化装置を提供するもので、酸化触媒のガス流れ方向D上流側に装備された消音構造体2は、ケーシング5の内部をガス流れ方向D上流側の分散チャンバ7aと下流側の分散チャンバ7bに分ける分散板6と、分散チャンバ7aの外部から分散チャンバ7a内に挿入されると共にガス流れ方向D上流側から下流側へ行くに従い順次径が小径となるようにした複数の孔9a、9b、9c、9dが周部に穿設され、且つ先端が分散板6に固設されたインナパイプ8を備える。分散板6の分散チャンバ7a、7b内に位置する部分には、径方向外周側が大径で中心側が小径の複数の孔14、15、16が穿設されている。
