Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de traitement des anévrysmes où une feuille de matériau supportée par un cadre expansible essentiellement tubulaire (tel que le revêtement d'un stent partiellement ou totalement revêtu) est déployée de telle manière que la feuille de matériau bloque au moins partiellement l'orifice de l'anévrysme et un agent de remplissage d'anévrysme est introduit dans l'anévrysme, dans des modes de réalisation, par l'intermédiaire d'un trou dans la feuille. L'invention concerne un autre procédé de traitement des anévrysmes où une feuille de matériau supportée par un cadre expansible essentiellement tubulaire (tel que le revêtement d'un stent partiellement ou totalement revêtu) est déployée de telle manière que la feuille de matériau bloque l'orifice de l'anévrysme et au moins une partie du contenu de l'anévrysme est prélevée, dans des modes de réalisation, par l'intermédiaire d'un trou dans la feuille. L'invention a également pour objet des dispositifs et des kits utiles dans la mise en œuvre des procédés de l'invention.
