Abstract
L'invention concerne un appareil d'aide à la toux comportant un premier sous- ensemble (1) comprenant un groupe de ventilation (11), une unité de contrôle de l'air (12) et une unité électronique de pilotage (13) et un deuxième sous-ensemble (2) comprenant un masque (21), un filtre antibactérien (22) et un tube de distribution (23) relié au premier ensemble (1 ). L'appareil selon l'invention se caractérise essentiellement en ce que l'unité électronique (13), est constituée : a) d'une mémoire de stockage de programmes préréglés correspondant à des profils types d'expectoration par type de pathologie et de profil de patient; b) d'un microcontrôleur qui actionne le groupe de ventilation (11) et l'unité de contrôle de l'air (12), d'une part, au moyen des programmes préréglés contenus dans ladite mémoire de stockage, d'autre part, au moyen d'un capteur de débit (16) et d'un capteur de pression (17) qui mesurent, en temps réel, le débit et la pression afin de les comparer à des valeurs limites de débit, de pression et de volumes inspiratoires et expiratoires préenregistrées et à intervenir instantanément sur les moyens de réglage du groupe de ventilation (11) et de réglage de l'unité de contrôle de l'air (12).
