Abstract

The invention relates to a stirrer mill (R), comprising: a milling receptacle (2) surrounding a milling chamber (3), which is connected to an inlet (4) and an outlet (5) for the product to be milled, and a stirrer shaft (6), which is supported outside the milling receptacle (2) in a cantilever manner, wherein the support (7) of the stirrer shaft (6) comprises an axial force-absorbing fixed bearing (8) in a fixed bearing housing (9) and a radial force-absorbing floating bearing (10) in a floating bearing housing (11), wherein the fixed bearing housing (9) and the floating bearing housing (11) are equally large or equally dimensioned and particularly identical.
