Abstract

　本発明の表示ユニット（１）は、画像を表示する第１液晶表示素子（２０）と、第１液晶表示素子（２０）の背後に設けられた役物（６２）と、第１液晶表示素子（２０）と役物（６２）との間に設けられた、役物（６２）を遮蔽するための第２液晶表示素子（３０）とが備えられた液晶表示ユニット（１）であって、第２液晶表示素子（３０）の背後に、役物（６２）を遮蔽するための機械的な遮蔽装置である役物遮蔽部（６４）が設けられている。
