Abstract
導波管内の誘電体柱の2次元周期構造が欠陥領域を含む2次元周期構造を有する高周波デバイスにおいて、製造上の管理が容易で、しかも、低損失で特性の優れた高周波デバイスを提供する。
導波管2Aの空洞3の対向する導体面α、β間に2次元周期配列の誘電体柱4を設けて成る誘電体柱格子群5Aを備え、この誘電体柱格子群5Aの少なくとも欠陥6´に隣接した誘電体柱4の端面4aと導波管2Aの導体面αとの間に所定の隙間7を設けることにより、導波管2Aの導体面αでの磁界エネルギに起因した表面電流を減少して無負荷Qを高くするとともに、隙間7を設けない場合に比して製造上の管理を容易にする。
