Abstract

 耐久性に優れるとともに、 タイヤトレッド部の摩耗状態を精度よく検知することのできる方法とその装置を提供するために、タイヤのインナーライナー部に加速度センサ11を設置してタイヤトレッド内面の加速度を検出するとともに、得られた加速度の時系列波形からのブロックが路面に踏み込んだときに発生する踏み込み時のピークを含む踏み込み領域の加速度波形、もしくは、路面から離れるときに発生する蹴り出し時のピークを含む蹴り出し領域の加速度波形を抽出して、この抽出された加速度波形を周波数分析して得られた周波数スペクトルの所定の周波数領域の加速度の大きさである周波数帯域値Pfを求め、この周波数帯域値Pfと予め設定された閾値K(v)とを比較して、当該タイヤの摩耗進展の度合を判定するようにした。
